Chew Medical Practice takes part in a number of medical research studies each year. The Practice is a member of the Primary Care Research Network (South West) and works within their strict ethical and clinical requirements. Appropriate patients are identified and asked whether they are interested in participating. No patients are ever involved in research studies without explicit consent.

The study is looking to recruit patients over 50, with comorbidities, or over 65, with or without comorbidities, who present with symptoms of coronavirus.

This study is for patients aged 65-74 years of age with a reduced kidney function

A Diet and Exercise Programme to Improve Blood Sugar Control
This study is investigating the effects of diet and exercise on the body's ability to process sugar for people that are pre-diabetic.
